An example from my sketch book of the nude model in the life class. One of my favourite mediums is the use of charcoal to render the subtle flesh tones. Once again it's important to achieve correct proportions especially when figurative drawing or painting. Often artists get the proportions wrong, leading to unconvincing studies.
