Due to popular demand, you are able to learn the basics of life drawing with me online, via zoom.

This delivery of art classes is proving popular with members.

You will be working from home, ideally a laptop. If working from a laptop you can get a great experience by running a HDMI cable from laptop to your TV!

Doing this class every alternative Saturday. Time 10 am to 12.30. Fee £14.

Life drawing is an important skill for any artist and there are multiple ways to approach it which is what we are seeking to explore and encourage with these new classes. Tuition will be included for any beginners and anyone looking to refresh themselves with the basics. If you are a more experienced artist who would like to work independently you are more than welcome as well.

Also a new figurative drawing, painting class two Saturdays per month, same time and fee as the life drawing class. This class is intended to allow members to develop their painting skills and experiment.

You will be encouraged to try new ways of drawing and painting the figure, exploring other options other than simply depicting the figure in a very representational way, perhaps taking it to more semi-abstraction?

Stage Two. Using charcoal. Allowing for subtle tones, plus it's easy and direct to apply, without the complication of paint.

Stage Four. Two 60-minute poses or one two-hour pose. This will be for artists wanting to create a more detailed artwork or to do a series of studies. From a fully body piece to an above shoulder portrait, artists can take their time.
